The improvements are impressive and nicer but the moire pattern is not as good as the first version you offered. One of the moire patterns should be off set to allow the effect more accurate. Please change it back of offer both. Thanks.

This is a must have app for any Star Trek TOS fan. The sound bites, the sound fx... Its all here! Plus you can make calls in app too. Would be nice if there was a shuffle feature for the sounds and some voice activation commands but other than that this app is great and a must have for Trek fans.

Why not??? Its cheaper than a coffee and a lot more fun. I spent a lot more money on things that didnt make me smile as much as this app has.

Pretty good, and sound quality is great. But the three jewels should be faceted, and moire could be much more impressive. But I do like the app.

Like the application but would have liked to see a better way to get to the phone part of it rather than click on the moire to display an overlay of menus. Even better if you could just fiip it open, hit a button for your last call and use it as a speaker phone...now that would be cool

I love it! And as a side note.... You can flip it open, and close it like Kirk did! Just shuffle your iphone like it was the communicator!

I enjoy playing with the app but there is one problem and two suggestions I have. The sound doesnt work if my Bluetooth is turned on. Id like to be able to use the sound bites Ive "purchased" for other functions in the phone. Ringtones and messages. Since the app already interfaces with the phone Id like to be able to use voice dial. Richard

It is great that you can now flip the phone and have it open and close like a real communicator. It would be awesome if you could flip the phone to answer an incoming call or use it in the place of the actual iphone answer system. Then it would be perfect. Love the add on sound effects. Keep updating and make this a fully functinal communicator! hailing frequencies closed.

The sound on this app is not working in iOS 9.2.1. Fix it please.

Great looking and sounding app. Brings back memories of watching the original Star Trek as a kid. Only issue is that the circular moire pattern in the center often does not spin when the app starts up.

Address book does not work in updated version. If you want to use your phone from communicator, DO NOT upload the updated version!!

Its really just a collection of dialogue and sounds from the original series. I played with it for five minutes then deleted it.

Hello! I have owned the "STCOMM" (Star Trek Communicator) app for iOS for years now, and I was hoping for an update of this app with the big Trek anniversary happening this year. With the release of iOS10, I think you all can make a MAJOR functional update to the communicator. iOS10 allows the integration of SIRI in apps, so my suggestion is to change one of the bottom radio buttons to "activate" SIRI. Tying the app into SIRI will allow users to say things like "call my home" and have the system make calls through the communicator. Some other quick points... * Problem: Re-arranging the sounds through drag and drop no longer works. * Problem: the communicator is not full screen on 6 plus or 7 plus models. * Idea: Offer the Trek TNG "chirp" or original series communicator beep on the ringtone store * Idea: Offer Trek stickers in the new iOS 10 sticker store * Difficult overhaul idea: make the communicator a full-fledged voice chat app that can chat with other communicators in the area.

Just got an iPhone 7 and now the audio has stopped functioning. Use to be great fun.

Looks cool and I was excited, but it makes not ONE sound. Completely incomprehensible directions. Its getting deleted. Waist of a buck.
