Star Trek™ Communicator App Reviews

This app is great! However under SFX you snuck a TNG sound in there ha ha.

There used to be sound on the ap, cool stuff like Kirk talking, Bones, etc. lots of effects, too. It doesnt seem to work anymore.

Tried everything, but no sounds! Sounds are the point of the app. Also, app assistance is nonexistent. Very disappointing.

New app looks and sounds great but disappointment #1 is that I cant answer incoming calls by using the app and flipping up the grill and hearing the chips while looking at the communicators face with the revolving moire. I even purchased the Classic TOS incoming communicator "beep, beep" to complete the illusion (which totally works if you set as your incoming ringtone). Which brings me to disappointment #2, the fact that the apps communicator disappears during phone calls. This is the primary purpose of the app (I thought). This doesnt seem such a hard thing do I would think. What youve done right here you should be proud of but please dont stop before it can be used as advertised, fix that and I swear l update my review to 5 stars, okay?!? P. S. When I go to the settings section within the app proper I can neither hear the sounds by touching on their names/descriptions or change their play order by holding them.

This Star Trek App doesnt function or perform as advertised. See other reviews for details. I concur with most of whats being said.

Update is cool, except... The grid graphic is different. Looks a bit more cartoony and misshapen. Original looked better. They improved the moire pattern to some extent, but it STILL isnt the classic spider moire. And whats with that HUGE hole in the center?!? They couldnt clean that up any better??? And hey... Whats with throwing a sound effect in there from The Next Generation Trek?!? It doesnt belong! Sure Im picky! This is supposed to be a classic Trek app. I know you can switch it off, but it shouldnt be there AT ALL. Last thing... The 2 buttons that activate the sounds ARENT SUPPOSED TO LIGHT UP!!! Theyre KNOBS, not lights!!! Really does seem like the creators of this app werent totally original Trek geeks. Take notes from us Trek geeks!
